Derek set up the company Parkborough Ltd  T/A The Mortgage Advice Shop in 1996.  Prior to Parkborough Derek had a very successful career in the Insurance industry where he spent 20 years working for Irish Life.  Derek’s role as MD of the company is focusing on implementing new structures to ensure first class service to customers.  He is also a member of the IBA, IMAF, PIBA, LIA and IPAV.

Anita holds a certificate in mortgage practices and has an LIA qualification and is a member of the Institute of Bankers. She has over 12 years experience in the mortgage industry and has been with the company since 2002.Prior to working in the mortgage industry - Anita worked for several years in the insurance industry. Anita is also a director of the company. Anita resides in Ballygunner, Waterford with her husband James

A native of Waterford, Lorraine's position in the company is Rental & Lettings Manager; Lorraine's vast experience in the Rental Market will give our Landlords & Tenants a professional service they deserve.

Lorraine has worked in property for the last 6 years and is also a member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV) having qualified in Waterford Institute of Technology holding a Diploma in Property & Certificate in Marketing.

Paul is a Qualified Financial Advisor who also holds a Mortgage Diploma through the LIA. He also holds a Diploma in Business Studies in Financial Services through WIT. Paul has worked in the mortgage industry since 2003 & prior to this he worked in the insurance industry & credit unions since 1996. Paul's position within the company is Senior Mortgage Advisor. He currently resides in Tramore with his wife Sharon & 2 children.

Jacqueline joined the company in October 2009. Jacqueline has worked in the property/rental business since 2002. Dealing with all the administration relating to the every day running of the office. Jaqueline is also responsible for the retention and the introduction of new business in the House Insurance department.
